Turbo HD camera’s beschikken over de door Hikvision ontwikkelde HD-TVI technologie. Deze technologie maakt het mogelijk om hoge resolutie camera’s toe te passen op COAX bekabeling. Voordeel van de HD-TVI techniek is dat deze eenvoudig toe te passen is, ook op de infrastructuur van bestaande analoge camerasystemen. Dankzij deze technologie zit er weinig vertraging in het beeld en kunnen er met full HD camera’s afstanden tot wel 700 meter worden behaald.
